Talk Story with Kekoa Kekuawela Rosa

COME JOIN US for a talk story session with Kekoa Kekuawela Rosa, a Native from Koʻolaupoko, Oʻahu, who will be sharing his personal and unique experience including his challenges as a Kāne and Māhū and how to restore rightful roles within the family and community. Kekoa brings a wealth of cultural knowledge and experience to his work, centering Native Hawaiian practices and values in healing, prevention, and community transformation while serving as the Director of Training and Technical Assistance for Pouhana O Nā Wāhine, the Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence.

He is deeply committed to restoring balance in our communities through aloha, kuleana, and ancestral guidance—ensuring that all members of the ʻohana are seen, valued, and supported.
