Our administrative office in Lihue hosts more than 20 staff members, and is the location for our domestic violence
intervention, sexual assault treatment services and TRO assistance.
Family Violence Shelter
YWCA Kaua`i runs the only domestic violence shelter on the island. Our Family Violence Shelter offers women and
children a safe place where they can get help to break the cycle of violence. Thanks to generous donors, the shelter
was remodeled in 2008 and now has new playground equipment, paint, furniture and flooring,
helping to create a comfortable, home-like space.

Hale Pumehana Building
Find our Youth Services Programs on the second floor. These programs benefit keiki of all ages
and the entire community.
Camp Sloggett
Open to the public, Camp Sloggett is a lodge, cottage, camp ground and hostel owned by the YWCA of Kaua`i in stunning Kokee State Park.
Camp Sloggett is available for use by the public for camping, getaway, and events.

Future Home
YWCA Kaua`i recently purchased 2.5 acres of land for our new administrative home in Lihue, in the Molokoa Subdivision
across from Vidinha Stadium. The new site will allow us to consolidate and expand many of our programs under one roof.
The YWCA Board of Directors and staff are excited about all the possibilities as we look to the future and ensure a vibrant
YWCA of Kaua`i for many generations of women and girls to come. A big mahalo to all our supporters over the years,
and especially to the many generous donors who made this first step of the dream a reality!
